I Have Some Questions; Do You?

DISCLAIMER:  I am NOT a supporter of Vladmir Putin!  However, I do have some questions that you simply do not see asked on any of the news programs on any of the channels, both national and local.  Here they are: 

If YOU were the leader of a nation (Russia),  why would YOU direct and/or encourage YOUR military to commit what would obviously be recognized as WAR CRIMES?  I wouldn’t!  Would you? 

If YOU were the leader of a nation (Russia), why would YOU conduct military operations that YOU know would draw the United States and its allies into a World War III situation that could involve nuclear weapons that would effectively enact the Doomsday Scenario that people have feared ever since the early 1950s?  It would be self-destruction for sure?  I wouldn’t!  Would you? 

If YOU were the leader of a nation (Russia), why would YOU leave evidence of obvious War Crimes that people could take photos/videos of or in effect leave witnesses to the crimes allegedly committed?  I wouldn’t!  Would you? 

If YOU were the leader of a nation (Ukraine), would YOU plead with countries all around the world for more drastic weapons of war IF YOUR country were actually winning the war?  I wouldn’t!  Would you? 

If YOU were the leader of a nation (Russia), would YOU leave the evidence that would be required to encourage countries like the United States to respond to the world’s outrage over the photos/videos being shown on national news media outlets by providing another nation (Ukraine) with weapons such as fighter jets and even bombers?  I wouldn’t!  Would you? 

If YOU were the leader of a nation (Russia), would YOU permit more than thirty Biolabs that YOU KNOW experimented with bioweapons, to be operational within mere miles of your border?  I wouldn’t!  Would you? 

If YOU were the leader of a nation (Russia), would YOU turn your back on a military force of another nation (Ukraine) that was attacking people (Donbas) of YOUR nation (Russia)?  I wouldn’t!  Would you? 

If YOU were the leader of a nation (Russia), would YOU refrain from striking civilian infrastructures like hospitals, schools and residential homes that were being used by another nation (Ukraine) as military sites from which to attack YOU?  I wouldn’t!  Would you? 

If YOU, an American citizen, were to watch EVERY major news outlet including local news broadcasts and you heard the exact same reports on EVERY channel regarding an ongoing war that told only one side of the issue, would you believe all of the identical stories to be true?  Before you answer, remember the same news media outlets told you for over THREE YEARS that President Trump had colluded with Russia to win an election; that the COVID vaccines would prevent you from contacting COVID; that facial masks would keep you from contracting COVID and/or spreading COVID; that there was no election fraud, etc.  I wouldn’t!  Would you? 

If YOU could trace Nazism from World War II Germany in the 1930s and 40s to Nazi style military units in Ukraine in 2022, would YOU simply ignore their presence and consider them as not to be a threat to your country just across the border?  I wouldn’t!  Would you? 

UPDATE:  The news just reported that Russia had sent a missile into a Ukraine train station and killed 54 people and wounded many others.  The report said that the “Russian” missile had the words, “for the children” written on the side of it.  Back to the questions from above.  If YOU were the Russian Leader, and you knew that the last thing you wanted to do was to provoke America into militarily joining in the fight, would you encourage or permit your troops to intentionally fire a missile into a group of civilians?  Would YOU encourage or permit your troops to put such a vile message on the side of the missile?  If YOU were the leader of America, would you summarily dismiss the Russian report that they no longer use such a missile and that the missile had to have come from a source other than Russia?  To my knowledge no such questions have been asked nor answered. 

These are only questions.  If you haven’t asked yourself questions such as these, it is quite possible that you are not getting the full story of the war in Ukraine.  In this regard, I strongly encourage you to do your own research on Operation Mockingbird.  Here is a link to get you started:  https://spartacus-educational.com/JFKmockingbird.htm  If the link does not work, copy and paste it to your web browser.  Our news media has been complicit in reporting only the news that IT and OUR government want you to hear and see.  This was never more evident than during the Vietnam War when the government falsified statistics and then provided the major news outlets with the storylines the government wanted you to hear and see to encourage you to take the side of our government in a war that we were “supposedly” winning.  How did that work out for everyone?  We have been lied to by our news outlets AND our government for decades and decades.  It is actually a form of brainwashing when you get ONLY one very tainted side of every story reported by every news outlet.  People believe that since they all say the same thing, what they say MUST be true.  I have not felt that way for a very long time.  Social Media has changed all that, at least for me. 

I have turned the news off.  I watch the local news only to hear what the latest weather forecast is.  Once I realized that not only was the media lying to me, I also began to pick out words and phrases uttered by the talking heads that were used to inject THEIR PERSONAL OPINIONS about the stories they broadcasted, ALL OF THEM!  The media no longer asks and answers the questions that were once taught to journalists.  Who, What, Where and Why?  The various news stations/outlets at one time seemed to be in competition to get the most important news stories, FIRST.  But they also required verification of those stories BEFORE they were ever aired.  Now the stories are aired FIRST and then sometimes make an attempt to verify them.  As a result, a lot of false news stories are broadcast and thus the term FAKE NEWS appeared.  Now they all just repeat the same stories from channel to channel to channel.  It is extremely rare when you hear BOTH sides of a story.  A perfect example of this was the George Floyd story.  All we heard for months was how the police officer murdered George Floyd.  The entire world went nuts.  The media and the public convicted the police officer before he ever went to trial.  It was impossible for him to get a fair trial.  We much later heard about the drugs that Floyd had within his system that could have led to his death, yet the police officer was convicted anyway even though actual photos revealed his knee was NOT on Floyd’s neck.  He was convicted by public opinion and only 12 members of the public, the jury, actually saw any of the evidence.  Yet given all of the violence that surrounded this case, could the jury have come to any other verdict?  I don’t think so, that is MY OPINION.  I don’t know if he was guilty or not and neither do most of the people who read this Nugget – they were not there at the hearing or in the jury room. 

The Ukraine/Russia war coverage is being seen only from the Ukraine side of the story.  Putin made comments regarding his motives but they were summarily rebuked as being false with no further explanation nor exploration as to THEIR validity.  I am not suggesting that they are true and accurate only that he made them.  I am however, suggesting that the media made no effort to confirm or prove them to be false.  NONE. 

One final suggestion.  Watch the movie Ukraine on Fire.  You can find it on the Internet.  It shows you the creation of modern-day Ukraine had its roots in World War II Germany.  The movie was released in 2016; the events after 2016 are not included in the film and that makes the documentary more meaningful and puts current events into an even more disturbing light. 

My point!  If you and I get only one side of a story, how do you know what you are being told is true?  You/I don’t!  But as Joseph Goebbels of WWII Germany said, 

“If you tell a lie beg enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it.  The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie.  It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State.” 

If YOU substitute “the government AND the news media” for the word “YOU” in the above quote the meaning becomes more relevant to 2022: 

“If the government and the news media tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it.  The lie can be maintained only for such time as they can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie.  It thus becomes vitally important for the government and news media to use all of their powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the government and news media.” 

The lie can be maintained only for such time as they can shield the people from the truth!  If you can control what the media reports, the lie can be maintained almost forever.  Social media has become the platform for what is known as “independent journalists.”  These journalists are not restricted as to what they can say and not say.  They report what they have discovered.  Do they only report the truth?  Absolutely not.  But what they do is to at least ask questions like the questions listed at the beginning of this Nugget.  When you start to ask questions, you run the risk of finding answers that may not have previously met your expectations, right or wrong.  But…when everyone seems to be speaking the exact same language on the news broadcasts, HUGE RED FLAGS should go up in your consciousness.  Sadly, those red flags seem to be nonexistent and instead, people simply believe what they have been told to believe.  For the record, I am NOT one of those people.  I believe there is an entirely different truth to the stories being reported about the war in Ukraine.  I implore anyone reading this to do their own research and come to their own conclusions; not the conclusions that the news media AND OUR GOVERNMENT want you to believe.
