NUGGETS FOR THE NOGGIN
I EARNED THE COAST GUARD MEDAL
By Jim
“Gymbeaux” Brown, June 28, 2012
Just thought
everyone would like to know that I earned the prestigious Coast Guard
Medal. I spent 20 years in the U. S.
Coast Guard serving our country and I am so proud. By the way did I not tell you that I also was
awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor?
Yep, sure was. That ought to look
good on my resume wouldn’t you say?
But of course it
is a lie, I won neither one. Can I be
punished for saying I did? Not according
to the questionable judges on the U. S. Supreme Court. Today, June 28, 2012, a day of infamy to
quote a famous president, our U. S. Supreme Court ruled 6 to 3 that anyone can
claim they have earned a military award and there is nothing anyone can do
about it under, are you ready for this, FREEDOM
OF SPEECH!
Words simply fail
me at a time like this and sometimes vulgarity just can’t be replaced with
civility. At least 6 of the 9 judges
have their heads so far up their asses they will never see the light of
day. How many military people gave their
lives so that these 6 people, I use the term with reservations, can say it is
okay to lie about receiving awards reserved for only the select few who
demonstrated courage under the worst of conditions; conditions I might at that
these 6 probably have never see in their lifetime.
Freedom of Speech
has just been lowered to authorize anyone to say whatever they want
regardless of whether it is a lie or not; go figure. By the way, did I tell you I was elected to
the Congress of the United States? Under
their definition of Freedom of Speech, I did nothing wrong by stating so even though it is not true. I wonder if that means someone can say they
are a police officer or an FBI agent because of course they have Freedom of
Speech. According to these justices
freedom of speech has just become a right to lie with immunity.
Is this a great country or what?
I was awarded
several military honors during my 20 years.
As of June 28, 2012 they are
meaningless! Thank you very much! I paid my price to our country and I have a
right to be pissed I can only hope people who read this are as well.
Oh
by the way, did I tell you that I won the Super Bowl back in 1995? I did you know.
