Who’s Behind It, Why It’s Evil, How to Stop It!

I found it very difficult to write a personal review of D’Souza’s book because of the political ramifications of its content.  Some will absolutely agree.  Others a vehemently disagree.  But for some it will come as totally new material they have never heard or been taught and for them, it will be a startling enlightenment. Therefore, instead of writing a review that would be obviously slanted to what I believe to be happening in America in 2020, I decided NOT to review the book and instead answer one very simple question.  Who should read The United States of Socialism? 

In a word, EVERYONE!  America has been gradually and slowly changing over the last 70 years.  Most people are totally unaware of the changes but for those who have paid attention, D’Souza’s book comes as no surprise and a validation.  Whether you favor Socialism or you favor Capitalism, THIS IS A MUST-READ BOOK.  Why?  Before you cast a ballot for any political candidate in a local, state or national election, you should know with certainty where that candidate stands in regard to Socialism and Capitalism, two very different and opposing concepts.  If you cast a ballot for a (d) or an (r) or an (i) simply because of the letter in the parentheses, you are doing yourself and your country a gross injustice.  Know who you are voting for and why you should be voting for them, otherwise, prepare yourself for the results of your vote; results you may ultimately live to seriously regret. 

My opinion on what treasures are revealed in D’Souza’s book is unimportant.  What is important is what you take away from the book by actually reading it.  My guess is that a lot of American voters will be shocked at what they read and may reconsider their thinking accordingly, at least that would be my sincere hope.  Just read the book. 

Who should read the book?  EVERYONE, and I do mean everyone.

Would I read it again?  Certainly, to review parts of it, if for no other reason than to make the connections with current events and why they are happening and by whom.

Would I give it as a gift?  That’s a tough question to answer.  I would love to but feel that a great many people are so set in their ways that they would perceive the book to have little to no value for them to suggest that they would or should read it.  I think it has to be personal choice to want to read what D’Souza has put forth.  So probably not.
